Good evening everyone!
It always seems to take me forever before I realise that I haven't blogged in a while. One day I will start blogging consistently like I used to. But anyway, I thought I'd make a little blog post about starting college and how things have been going considering I started back in September and now it's been two weeks since the October holidays, no matter the summer holidays.
To begin, I started on the 2nd of September with only half of year 12. We had the chance to do every lesson that we had chosen giving us the chance to do ice breakers and get to know at least half the class before everyone was in. It also allowed us to get to know the teachers and find out where our classrooms were. All my teachers were lovely and it didn't take me too long to get to know everyone and everywhere.
To put it simply I am really enjoying college and honestly I could even say it is the best thing that has happened to me since, well since God knows when! I know nowadays it is compulsory but to anyone who is choosing their college or to anyone who has just been thinking about it, do not worry yourself into thinking it's a bad thing or anything like that because it is a whole new world no matter whether you choose to stay on at your high school's sixth form or whether you decide to move somewhere else. I personally choose to move elsewhere and I really do think it was the best thing for me to do after problems at high school. I have made a whole new group of friends who I absolutely love to bits. I get along with them so well and we genuinely are one big family.
I could honestly write so much more about how great college is, minus the fact that I have so much work to do, but I have more work to do that I should've been doing for the past 2 hours but instead I have just been talking to new friends and watching Struck by Lightning (which is the first time I've seen it and I cried). So I better get on with it and hopefully I blog sometime soon. I also need to make some more YouTube videos soon as I haven't made one of them since the summer holidays! I have been very busy with college, work, homework and everything else we are expected to do at college.
Hope everyone is enjoying this term and at least it's nearly Christmas so we can all look forward to that!
Bye for now,
Kira Louella xx
