CHARITY SALE

Happy Holidays Everyone!

ONE WEEK TO GO!

With Christmas in sight I'm doing my best to get as much last minute Christmas fundraising done before it's too late! Hopefully you'll know by now that in August 2017 I'm climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Childreach International (find out more here). Over the next year I shall be raising as much as I can for the charity and over the past few weeks, whilst I've been at uni, both my Mum and I have been crafting and knitting (in my Mum's case) in order to create lots of decorations and little Christmas gifts to sell at my university's Christmas fair and on another stall the week after. The stalls on the whole didn't go too bad, all things considered, and they've massively helped me reach my first milestone of £250 before Christmas (a milestone set by Childreach themselves)! That said, I still have quite a few items left which I would like to continue to try and sell to maximise the amount of money I can raise.

I just wanted this post to simply be a little showcase of some of the things I've made. There is still quite a lot of knitted things left over too. I'd love it if people wanted to make a donation in return for an item. I am currently continuing to sell things via Facebook but if anyone reading this would happen to want something, feel free to email me on kira@kiralcurtis.com and we can arrange something.

It has been lovely doing so many crafty things on the run up to Christmas and now I'm finally back home with my parents, I can begin to relax. I only have 4 essay to do for January but you know... I am well and truly ready to chill out and enjoy the Christmas season!

If you would like to do a bit of giving this Christmas, please donate to help me raise money for Childreach International, every little really does help! - https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/kiralcurtiskilimanjaro

Or if you have any last minute presents to buy or even in the January sales, please use this link to register with EasyFundraising allowing you to donate for free! - https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/kiracurtis/

I'd like to wish you all the very best in this lovely holiday season!

- KC xx
